The issue

On certain travel trailers, suspension travel may allow the equalizer arm to contact the Liquid Propane (LP) pipe located under the trailer. This could damage the LP pipe, which could result in a leak. A propane gas leak, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire or an explosion, which could cause property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will install a rubber bumper onto the frame of the trailer.

Sur certaines caravanes classiques, le déplacement de la suspension pourrait permettre au bras égalisateur d'entrer en contact avec le tuyau à propane liquide (PL) situé sous la caravane. Cela pourrait endommager le tuyau à PL et produire une fuite. Une fuite de gaz propane, en présence d'une source d'inflammation, pourrait causer un incendie ou une explosion, ce qui pourrait endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront poser un pare-chocs en caoutchouc sur le châssis de la caravane.
