The issue

On certain vehicles, the control module for the Electric Power Steering (EPS) unit may not function properly and could switch off while driving. This would cause a loss of steering power assist, which may result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the Electric Power Steering unit.

Sur certains véhicules, le module de commande de la direction assistée électrique pourrait ne pas fonctionner adéquatement et s'arrêter pendant que le véhicule roule, ce qui causerait une perte de l'assistance de la direction assistée qui pourrait causer un accident, endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer la direction assistée électrique.
