The issue

On certain motorhomes, the propane supply hose may contact a metal tank guard bracket and/or the propane compartment door frame. Continued contact could wear through the supply hose, which could result in a propane leak. A propane gas leak, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire or an explosion, which could cause property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the propane supply hose. Additionally, a rubberized clamp will be added to reposition the hose and to ensure adequate clearance is maintained.

Sur certaines autocaravanes, le tuyau d'alimentation en propane pourrait entrer en contact avec un support de réservoir en métal ou le cadre de porte du compartiment du propane. Un contact ininterrompu pourrait percer le tuyau d'alimentation, ce qui pourrait causer une fuite de propane. Une fuite de propane, en présence d'une source d'inflammation, pourrait causer un incendie ou une explosion, ce qui pourrait endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, si nécessaire, remplacer le tuyau d'alimentation en propane. De plus, un dispositif de fixation en caoutchouc devra être ajouté pour repositionner le tuyau et s'assurer qu'un dégagement adéquat est maintenu.
