The issue
On certain trailers, the tandem axle equalizers may not have been welded correctly during the manufacturing process. This could allow one or both equalizers to separate from the trailer, which could result in a loss of vehicle control and a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the tandem axle equalizers.

Sur certaines remorques, les égalisateurs d'essieu tandem pourraient ne pas avoir été soudés correctement pendant le processus de fabrication. Ceci pourrait permettre à l'un des égalisateurs ou aux deux égalisateurs de se détacher de la remorque, ce qui pourrait entraîner une perte de contrôle du véhicule et un accident endommageant des biens matériels ou blessant quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, le cas échéant, remplacer les égalisateurs d'essieu tandem.
