The issue
Certain vehicles may have received an incorrectly manufactured rear driveshaft coupling (part number TVF100010) as a replacement part during service. Drive coupling failure could allow the driveshaft to detach from the vehicle, resulting in a loss of propulsion which, in conjunction with traffic and road condition, and the driver's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash. As well, a driveshaft separating from the vehicle could strike another vehicle, stationary object, or bystander. These issues could result in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the driveshaft coupling.

Le raccord d'arbre de transmission arrière de certains véhicules pourrait avoir été remplacé pendant l'entretien par une pièce de rechange (numéro de pièce : TVF100010) mal fabriquée. La défaillance du raccord pourrait causer le détachement de l'arbre de transmission du véhicule, ce qui entraînerait une perte de propulsion qui, conjointement avec la densité de la circulation, l'état de la route et les réactions du conducteur, pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. De plus, un arbre de transmission qui se détacherait du véhicule pourrait percuter un autre véhicule, un objet stationnaire ou une personne se trouvant à proximité. Cela pourrait endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le raccord de l'arbre de transmission.
