Recall 2012339

The issue

On certain vehicles, two power steering rack bolts and four transverse link bolts may not have been sufficiently tightened during vehicle assembly. Should any of these bolts loosen and fall out, the driver could lose vehicle control, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will tighten the affected bolts to the specified torque.

Sur certains véhicules, deux boulons de support de direction assistée et quatre boulons de bras oscillant transversal pourraient ne pas avoir été assez serrés lors du montage du véhicule. Si l'un ou l'autre de ces boulons se desserrait et tombait, le conducteur pourrait perdre le contrôle du véhicule, ce qui pourrait causer un accident endommageant des biens matériels ou blessant quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront serrer les boulons visés au couple spécifié.
