The issue

On certain motorcycles, the upper half of the throttle housing assembly may have been manufactured incorrectly, which could prevent the throttle from opening and closing normally. This could result in a loss of vehicle propulsion, or make it difficult to slow or stop the vehicle. Either issue could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the upper half of the throttle housing assembly.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, la partie supérieure du carter du papillon des gaz pourrait avoir été mal fabriqué, ce qui pourrait empêcher le papillon des gaz de s'ouvrir et de se fermer normalement. Cela pourrait causer une perte de propulsion du véhicule ou rendre difficile le ralentissement ou l'arrêt. Les deux problèmes pourraient augmenter le risque d'un accident endommageant des biens matériels ou blessant quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, si nécessaire, remplacer la partie supérieure du carter du papillon des gaz
