The issue

Certain snowmobiles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 1201 - Snowmobile Standards. The front side reflectors may fall off due to inadequate adhesion to the structure. This could render the vehicle less visible to other motorists during hours of darkness, possibly resulting in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and replace affected reflectors.

Certaines motoneiges pourraient ne pas se conformer aux exigences de la NSVAC 1201 - Normes régissant les motoneiges. Les réflecteurs latéraux avant pourraient tomber à cause d'une mauvaise adhésion à la structure. Cela pourrait rendre le véhicule moins visible quand il fait noir, ce qui pourrait causer un accident, endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et remplacer les réflecteurs visés.
