The issue

Certain vehicles may have been manufactured without an immobilizer, and as a result may not comply with Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 114 - Theft Protection and Rollaway Prevention. The lack of an immobilizer could increase the risk of theft causing property damage. Correction - Dealers will replace the body control module and keys of affected vehicles.

Certains véhicules pourraient ne pas avoir été munis d'un immobilisateur; en conséquence, ils pourraient ne pas se conformer à la NSVAC 114 - Protection contre le vol et immobilisation. L'absence d'immobilisateur pourrait augmenter le risque de vol endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le module confort-commodité et les clés des véhicules visés.
