The issue

On certain vehicles, road salt can corrode the rear crossmember assembly, which may ultimately lead to separation of the control arm at the mounting point. This would allow the wheel to rotate off its designed axis, and could result in a loss of vehicle control and a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will repair or replace the rear crossmember assembly.

Sur certains véhicules, le sel de voirie peut corroder l'ensemble de traverse arrière ce qui, ultimement, peut mener à la séparation du bras de suspension près du point d'assemblage. Cette séparation pourrait provoquer une perte de contrôle du véhicule et un accident, endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires doivent réparer ou remplacer l'ensemble de traverse arrière.
