The issue

On certain trailers, the ramp gate latches could fail, allowing the ramp to fall from the upright position and be dragged behind the trailer. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage or pose a risk to other road users. Correction: Dealers will add reinforcing brackets.

Sur certaines remorques, les loquets de la rampe d'accès pourraient faire défaut, ce qui permettrait à la rampe de tomber alors qu'elle se trouve en position verticale et d'être traînée derrière la remorque. Cela pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels, ou mettre en danger les autres usagers de la route. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront ajouter des supports de renfort.
