The issue

Certain vehicles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. In the event of a turn signal malfunction, no indication would be provided to the driver, which contrary to the requirements of the standard. Correction: Dealers will update vehicle software.

Certains véhicules pourraient ne pas se conformer aux exigences de la NSVAC 108 - Système d'éclairage et dispositifs rétroréfléchissants. En cas de défectuosité d'un clignotant, aucune indication ne serait fournie au conducteur, ce qui est contraire aux exigences de la norme. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront mettre à jour le logiciel du véhicule.
