The issue

On certain vehicles, leaks could develop where the rear brake hoses connect to the rear calipers. This would cause a loss of brake fluid and illuminate the brake warning lamp in the instrument panel. If operated in this condition, brake system function could be affected, potentially increasing stopping distances and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the sealing washers on the rear caliper to hose joint.

Sur certains véhicules, des fuites pourraient se produire où les canalisations des freins arrière se branchent aux étriers arrière. Cela causerait une perte de liquide de freinage et allumerait le voyant d'avertissement des freins au niveau du tableau de bord. Si le véhicule était utilisé dans cet état, le système de freinage pourrait être affecté, ce qui pourrait augmenter les distances de freinage, ainsi que les risques d'un accident blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les rondelles d'étanchéité sur l'étrier arrière au joint de canalisation.
