The issue

Certain booster seats may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 213.2 - Booster Seats. Specifically, certain labels on the affected booster seats and certain sections in the instruction manual indicate a minimum height of 40 inches (102 cm), while others indicate a minimum height of 42 inches (107 cm). In addition, there are some translation errors between the English and French manuals. Correction: 5514 KM Corporation will contact all registered owners with instructions on how to obtain the corrected labels and manuals. Note: The correct minimum height for these seats is 42 inches (107 cm).

Certains sièges d'appoint pourraient ne pas satisfaire aux exigences de la NSVAC 213.2 – Sièges d'appoint. Plus précisément, certaines étiquettes sur les sièges d'appoint touchés et certains passages du manuel d'instructions indiquent une hauteur minimale de 40 po (102 cm), et d'autres indiquent une hauteur minimale de 42 po (107 cm). De plus, il y a certaines erreurs de traduction entre les manuels anglais et français. Correction : 5514 KM Corporation communiquera avec tous les propriétaires enregistrés afin de leur fournir des instructions sur la manière d'obtenir des étiquettes et des manuels corrigés. Remarque : La hauteur minimale correcte pour ces sièges est de 42 po (107 cm).
