The issue
On certain light towers, the lower section of the fuel tank was built with insufficient structural support. This could result in deformation of the fuel tank when filled with fuel, which could cause the fuel tank to make contact with the trailer axle. An impact between the fuel tank and trailer axle could result in a hole, and fuel could leak. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers and/or owners will inspect and add structural support for the lower section of the fuel tank and if necessary, replace the fuel tank.

Sur certaines tours d'éclairage, la section inférieure du réservoir à carburant a été munie lors de sa construction d'un soutien structurel insuffisant. Cela pourrait déformer le réservoir à carburant lorsqu'il est plein, ce qui pourrait faire en sorte qu'il touche à l'essieu de la remorque. Un contact entre le réservoir à carburant et l'essieu de la remorque pourrait créer un trou, et du carburant pourrait fuir. Une fuite de carburant, en présence d'une source d'inflammation, pourrait causer un incendie blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires ou les propriétaires devront inspecter la section inférieure du réservoir à carburant et y ajouter du soutien structurel; si nécessaire, ils devront remplacer le réservoir à carburant.
