The issue

On certain vehicles, improper nickel plating of certain fuel pump internal components could contaminate the pump, potentially resulting in an inoperative fuel pump. This could result in a no-start condition, or an engine stall without warning and without the ability to restart the vehicle, which could increase the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel pump.

Sur certains véhicules, le revêtement de nickel inadéquat de certains composants internes de pompe à carburant pourrait contaminer cette pompe, ce qui pourrait la rendre inutilisable. Cela pourrait empêcher le démarrage du moteur ou causer le calage de celui-ci de façon imprévue, sans qu'il soit possible de redémarrer le véhicule. Cela pourrait augmenter les risques de collision. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer la pompe à carburant.
