The issue

On certain vehicles, a bolt which attaches the side air bag inflated curtain to the vehicle structure may be loose or missing. In the event of a side impact or roll-over crash that warrants side air bag curtain deployment, a loose or missing bolt could result in improper deployment. This could increase the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and repair the bolts as required.

Sur certains véhicules, un boulon qui retient le rideau gonflable latéral sur la structure du véhicule pourrait être desserré ou absent. En cas de collision latérale ou de capotage (nécessitant le déploiement du rideau gonflable latéral), un boulon desserré ou absent pourrait causer un déploiement incorrect. Cela pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et réparer les boulons, au besoin.
