The issue

On certain vehicles, if doors fail to latch properly in the primary or secondary closed position, there would be no indication provided to vehicle occupants of the unlatched door condition. This could result in a door opening while the vehicle is in motion, which could increase the risk of injury to a vehicle occupant seated next to the door, or result in damage to property. Correction: Dealers will update the vehicle software.

Sur certains véhicules, si les portières ne se verrouillent pas à la position fermée principale ou secondaire, les occupants du véhicule ne seront aucunement avisés que les portières ne sont pas verrouillées. Cela pourrait causer l'ouverture d'une portière pendant que le véhicule est en mouvement, ce qui augmenterait les risques de blessures pour l'occupant à côté de cette portière, ou pourrait entraîner des dommages matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront mettre à jour le logiciel du véhicule.
