The issue
On certain motorcycles, the ignition switch may become damaged internally due to engine induced vibration. This could cause an unintended change in ignition switch position while driving, resulting in loss of engine power which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the defective switch with an updated version.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, l’interrupteur de démarrage pourrait subir des dommages internes causés par les vibrations du moteur. Cela pourrait accidentellement en changer la position en cours de circulation, provoquer l’arrêt du moteur et accroître les risques de collision provoquant des blessures et/ou des dommages matériels. Correction : les détaillants doivent remplacer l’interrupteur défectueux par une version adéquate de celui-ci.
