The issue
On certain motorcycles, the connecting rod in the crankshaft assembly could fracture due to an error during the production process. If this were to occur, it could cause damage to the engine or engine failure, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the connecting rod by replacing the complete crankshaft assembly. Note: In the interim, owners are advised to stop riding their motorcycle until the defect has been repaired.

La bielle du vilebrequin de certaines motocyclettes pourrait se briser en raison d'une erreur commise durant la production. Si ce problème survient, il pourrait endommager le moteur ou causer une défaillance de celui-ci, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer la bielle en remplaçant le vilebrequin. Remarque : Entre-temps, les propriétaires ne doivent pas conduire leur motocyclette jusqu'à ce que la défectuosité ait été réparée.
