The issue

On certain travel trailers, the switched accessory LED light that is located on the front cap of the camper may have a fault that could cause it to short circuit. Should a short occur, the wiring could overheat and cause a fire, which could increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the current light with a different light which has built in voltage protection.

Dans certaines caravanes classiques, le dispositif d'éclairage à DEL accessoire commuté qui est situé sur la partie avant de la caravane pourrait présenter une défaillance qui pourrait provoquer un court-circuit. En cas de court-circuit, le câblage pourrait surchauffer et déclencher un feu, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures ou de dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le dispositif d'éclairage actuel par un dispositif d'éclairage différent qui comprend une protection contre les surtensions intégrée.
