The issue

Certain vehicles may have been equipped with side airbag inflators that do not meet specifications. This could cause affected airbags to fail to deploy properly in the event of a crash, which could increase the risk of injury to the occupants. Correction: Dealers will replace affected airbag modules.

Certains véhicules pourraient avoir été dotés de générateurs de gaz pour coussins gonflables latéraux qui ne respectent pas les exigences. Cela pourrait empêcher le déploiement des coussins gonflables touchés lors d'une collision et ainsi augmenter les risques de blessures des occupants. Correction : Les concessionnaires doivent remplacer les modules de coussins gonflables touchés.
