Recall 2017030

The issue

On certain vehicles, the latch-lock cable may have been incorrectly routed in the path of the rear door window regulator. This could cause the rear passenger door to unlatch and open when the window is lowered, increasing the risk of injury to the rear passengers while the vehicle is in motion. Correction: Dealers will inspect, reroute or replace the rear door latch-lock cable assembly as necessary. Note: This recall is superseded by recall 2018732. Le câble de verrouillage de certains véhicules pourrait avoir été mal acheminé dans le trajet du lève-glace de la porte arrière, ce qui pourrait déverrouiller et ouvrir la porte arrière du passager lorsqu'on abaisse la glace, augmentant ainsi les risques de blessures aux passagers arrière lorsque le véhicule est en marche. Correction : Les concessionnaires doivent inspecter, réacheminer ou remplacer le câble de verrouillage de la porte arrière au besoin. Nota : Ce rappel est remplacé par le rappel 2018732.
