The issue
On certain aerial devices, the winch brake may have been installed backwards. If an hydraulic winch line were to fail, the winch brake would not be able to hold the load, which could increase the risk of injury to the operator and/or bystanders. Correction: Dealers will reverse the direction of the winch brake and adjust the winch brake torque setting.

Le frein du treuil de certains dispositifs aériens pourrait avoir été installé à l'envers. Si la ligne hydraulique d'un treuil tombait en panne, le frein du treuil ne serait pas en mesure de retenir la charge, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures à l'opérateur du treuil et/ou aux autres personnes présentes. Correction : Les concessionnaires doivent inverser la direction du frein du treuil et régler son couple.
