The issue
Certain tires may have insufficient input of a compounding agent for the under tread layer. This could cause a portion of the tire tread to swell and bulge during driving. If the vehicle is operated with this condition, the bulge area may peel off which could affect steering stability, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the defective tires as directed under a program by Yokohama.

Une quantité insuffisante d'un des ingrédients du mélange de caoutchouc de la sous chape pourrait avoir été utilisée au moment de la fabrication de certains pneus. Une partie de la bande de roulement pourrait renfler et se bomber pendant la conduite, et la partie renflée pourrait se décoller et nuire à la stabilité de la direction, augmentant ainsi les risques d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les pneus défectueux conformément au programme de Yokohama.
