The issue

On certain scooters, the nut holding the swingarm to the frame may not have been tightened to specification. This could result in the swingarm becoming loose, which could affect vehicle handling and stability and could result in loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will ensure the nut is tightened to specification, and replace the bolt/nut assembly as necessary.

Sur certains scooteurs, l'écrou qui fixe le bras oscillant au cadre pourrait ne pas avoir été serré selon les exigences. Le bras oscillant pourrait ainsi se desserrer ce qui pourrait nuire à la manœuvrabilité et à la stabilité et engendrer une perte de maîtrise du véhicule. Cette situation pourrait augmenter les risques de collision causant des blessures ou des dommages matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires doivent s'assurer que l'écrou est serré selon les exigences et remplacer le boulon/l'écrou au besoin.
