The issue

On certain vehicles, the steering assist cylinder attachment and adjustment points may not have been tightened to specification at time of assembly. This could result in the steering assist cylinder separating from the steering arm, causing a loss of steering assist and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Vehicles will be inspected and fasteners tightened to specification.

Sur certains véhicules, les points de fixation et de réglage du vérin de la direction assistée pourraient ne pas avoir été serrés conformément aux spécifications au moment de l'assemblage. Le vérin de la direction assistée pourrait se détacher du bras de direction et entraîner la perte de la direction assistée, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les véhicules devront être inspectés et les dispositifs de fixation serrés conformément aux spécifications.
