The issue
Certain travel trailers were built with sofas that may prohibit the visibility of the rear window exit label and/or restrict access to and the operation of the emergency exit window handle. In the event of an emergency situation, this could result in an occupant potentially having difficulty locating and operating the emergency window, which could increase the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the sofa back with one of a lower height.

Certaines caravanes classiques ont été construites avec des divans qui cachent l'étiquette de sortie de la vitre arrière et/ou restreignent l'accès à la poignée de la fenêtre de sortie d'urgence ou son fonctionnement. Dans le cas d'une situation d'urgence, cela pourrait faire en sorte que l'occupant ait de la difficulté à repérer et à faire fonctionner le fenêtre de sortie d'urgence ce qui pourrait augmenter les risque de blessures. Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires doivent remplacer le dossier du divan par un dossier moins haut.
