The issue
On certain travel trailers, the mounting bracket for the liquid propane (LP) bottle may have been incorrectly oriented. This could cause the bracket to break which could result in the LP bottle separating from the vehicle, creating a road hazard and increasing the risk of a propane leak. A propane leak, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a new LP bottle ring with a correctly oriented bracket.

Dans certaines caravanes classiques, le support de montage de la bouteille de propane liquide pourrait avoir été mal orienté. Par conséquent, le support pourrait se briser. La bouteille pourrait alors se séparer du véhicule, ce qui représenterait un danger routier et augmenterait les risques de fuite de propane. Une fuite de propane, en présence d'une source d'inflammation, pourrait déclencher un feu pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront installer un nouvel anneau de bouteille de propane liquide, avec un support bien orienté.
