The issue

On certain vehicles, the front left lower control arm pivot bolt may not have been properly hardened during the manufacturing process. This could cause the front left lower control arm pivot bolt to break, which could affect vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the front left lower control arm and replace it as necessary.

Dans certains véhicules, l’axe de pivot de bras de suspension inférieur gauche avant pourrait ne pas avoir été trempé adéquatement en cours de fabrication, ce qui pourrait en entraîner une cassure, nuire à la conduite et à la maîtrise du véhicule, ainsi qu’accroître les risques d’accidents pouvant causer des blessures et/ou des dommages matériels. Mesure corrective : les détaillants doivent inspecter le bras de suspension inférieur gauche avant et le remplacer s’il y a lieu.
