The issue

Certain trucks equipped with a power locking tailgate may experience unintended opening of the tailgate. If this occurs while driving, unrestrained cargo could fall out of the box and create a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will modify the locking mechanism.

Le hayon à verrouillage électrique de certains camions pourrait s'ouvrir involontairement. Si tel est le cas et que le véhicule est en marche, de la cargaison non arrimée pourrait tomber et créer un danger sur la route, augmentant ainsi les risques de collision causant des blessures et des dommages matériels. Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires doivent modifier le mécanisme de verrouillage.
