Recall 2018479

The issue

Certain vehicles may have been built with a defective fuel tank crossover pipe connecting the left and right tanks. Over time, the crossover pipe could separate and cause a fuel leak which, in the presence of an ignition source, could create the risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: The company will replace affected fuel tanks.

Certains véhicules pourraient comporter une canalisation défaillante de liaison des réservoirs de carburants gauche et droit. Au fil du temps, la canalisation pourrait se séparer et causer une fuite de carburant qui, en présence d’une source d’inflammation, pourrait provoquer un incendie pouvant entraîner des blessures et/ou des dommages matériels. Mesure corrective : l’entreprise remplacera les réservoirs touchés.
