The issue
On certain vehicles, a software problem could prevent the Active Lane Keeping Assist system from working properly. When travelling at speeds of over 100 km/h, while the driver would be alerted of an unintended lane departure, the system may not help to safely bring the vehicle back in to its lane. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will update the multipurpose camera software.

Dans certains véhicules, un problème logiciel pourrait entraîner un mauvais fonctionnement du système d’aide active au suivi de voie, si bien qu’à des vitesses supérieures à 100 km/h, les conducteurs pourraient ne pas être prévenus qu’un changement de voie involontaire survient, ce qui accroît les risques d’accident pouvant causer des blessures et/ou des dommages matériels. Mesure corrective : les détaillants doivent actualiser le logiciel de caméra polyvalente.
