The issue

Certain vehicles may not conform to Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 206 - Door Lock and Door Retention Components. The bolts attaching the door striker to the vehicle body may be too short. This could result in the door opening in a crash, increasing the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will replace all door striker bolts.

Certains véhicules pourraient ne pas se conformer à la norme de sécurité des véhicules automobiles du Canada (NSVAC) 206 - Serrures de porte et composants de retenue de porte. Les boulons qui fixent la gâche de porte à la carrosserie du véhicule pourraient être trop courts. Cela pourrait entraîner l'ouverture de la porte lors d'un accident, ce qui augmente les risques de blessures. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer tous les boulons de gâche de porte.
