The issue
On certain travel trailers, the axle bearings may not have been properly installed. This could cause the bearings to overheat and fail, potentially resulting in wheel separation. A wheel separating from the vehicle could cause a loss of control and a crash. In addition, the wheel assembly could strike another vehicle, stationary object, or bystander, causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will repair or replace the axle hubs and bearings as necessary.

Dans certaines caravanes classiques, les paliers d'essieu pourraient avoir été mal installés. Par conséquent, les paliers pourraient surchauffer et subir une défaillance, ce qui pourrait causer une séparation de la roue. Une séparation d'une roue du véhicule pourrait causer une perte de maîtrise et un accident. De plus, la roue pourrait frapper un autre véhicule, un objet fixe ou une personne à proximité, ce qui pourrait entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront réparer ou remplacer les paliers d'essieu selon les besoins.
