The issue

Certain travel trailers may have been manufactured without a carbon monoxide detector. In the event of elevated levels of carbon monoxide, there would be no alert to occupants, which would increase the risk of asphyxiation or carbon monoxide poisoning. Correction: Dealers will install a battery operated carbon monoxide detector.

Certaines caravanes classiques pourraient avoir été construites sans détecteur de monoxyde de carbone. En cas de niveaux élevés de monoxyde de carbone, les occupants ne seraient pas avertis, ce qui augmenterait les risques d'asphyxie ou d'intoxication au monoxyde de carbone. Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront installer un détecteur de monoxyde de carbone à batterie.
