The issue

On certain golf cars, personal transportation, and specialty vehicles, the accelerator pedal return spring may break. If this happens, the accelerator would not return to the home position when released, so the vehicle may not slow without use of the brakes, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the accelerator pedal spring with a new stronger type.

Sur certaines voiturettes de golf, certains véhicules de transport personnels et certains véhicules de spécialité, le ressort de rappel de l'accélérateur pourrait se briser. Si cela se produisait, l'accélérateur ne retournerait pas en position de départ après avoir été relâché, ce qui fait que le véhicule pourrait ne pas ralentir sans l'aide des freins, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques d'un accident blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le ressort de rappel de l'accélérateur par un ressort neuf plus fort.
