The issue
On certain vehicles, the front wiring harness could come in contact with a sharp metal opening on the left inner fender and become damaged. This could result in an electrical short-circuit and create the risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the front wiring harness for damage. If no damage is found, the dealer will install a plug/cover to the opening on the left inner fender. If damage is found, the front wiring harness will be replaced and a plug/cover will be installed to cover the opening on the left inner fender.

Sur certains véhicules, le faisceau de câbles avant pourrait entrer en contact avec une ouverture métallique coupante sur l'aile intérieure gauche et s'endommager. Cela pourrait causer un court-circuit et risquer de causer un incendie blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter le faisceau de câbles avant pour voir s'il ne serait pas endommagé. Si le concessionnaire ne trouve aucun dommage, il devra poser un bouchon/dispositif de recouvrement sur l'ouverture sur l'aile intérieure gauche. Si le concessionnaire trouve des dommages, le faisceau de câbles avant devra être remplacé et un bouchon/dispositif de recouvrement devra être posé pour couvrir l'ouverture sur l'aile intérieure gauche.
