The issue

Certain vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The LED headlamps may have been produced with improper low-beam lamp aiming, which is contrary to the requirements of the standard. This could reduce illumination of the roadway, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the headlamps and replace them as necessary.

Certains véhicules pourraient ne pas se conformer aux exigences de la norme de sécurité des véhicules automobiles du Canada (NSVAC) 108 - Système d'éclairage et dispositifs rétroréfléchissants. Les feux de croisement des phares à DEL pourraient comporter un problème d'orientation, ce qui est contraire aux exigences de la norme. Cela pourrait diminuer l'éclairage de la route, ce qui augmenterait les risques d'un accident blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter les phares et les remplacer au besoin.
