The issue

On certain motorhomes, the generator internal voltage regulator may be faulty and could cause damage to the electrical system. This could cause over-charging of the batteries that may result in spillage of battery acid and create a risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect the under mount generator and, if found to be fitted with black caps, the generator will be replaced.

Sur certaines autocaravanes, le régulateur de tension interne de la génératrice pourrait être défectueux et endommager le circuit électrique. Cela pourrait surcharger les batteries, causer le déversement de leur acide et blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter la génératrice; si elle est munie de bouchons noirs, elle devra être remplacée.
