The issue

Certain travel trailers may fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The clearance lights were wired incorrectly and may not illuminate. This could decrease vehicle conspicuity and potentially increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and repair the wiring if necessary.

Certaines caravanes classiques pourraient ne pas se conformer aux exigences de la norme de sécurité des véhicules automobiles du Canada (NSVAC) 108 - Système d'éclairage et dispositifs rétroréfléchissants. Les feux de gabarit ont été mal branchés et pourraient ne pas s'allumer. Cela pourrait rendre le véhicule moins visible et augmenter les risques d'un accident blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et réparer les fils au besoin.
