The issue
The affected vehicle may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 208 - Occupant Protection in Frontal Impacts. The airbag warning label on the driver and/or passenger side sun visors may be incorrect or missing. A missing or incorrect sun visor air bag warning label would not provide the required air bag warning information to the driver and/or passenger, which could increase the risk of injury. Correction: A dealer will inspect the vehicle and install a new driver and/or passenger sun visor with the correct label as necessary.

Le véhicule visé pourrait ne pas se conformer aux exigences de la norme de sécurité des véhicules automobiles du Canada (NSVAC) 208 - Protection des occupants en cas de collision frontale. L'étiquette d'avertissement concernant les coussins gonflables sur le pare-soleil du côté du conducteur ou celui du côté du passager pourrait être incorrecte ou manquante. Une telle étiquette ne fournirait pas l'avertissement nécesssaire au conducteur ou au passager, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures. Correction : Un concessionnaire inspectera le véhicule et posera un nouveau pare-soleil côté conducteur ou côté passager comportant la bonne étiquette au besoin.
