The issue

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the image for the rearview mirror monitor screen could be reversed. Safety Risk: This could cause a driver to turn the wrong direction to avoid an object behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to call ASA Electronics to coordinate the repair with a local dealer. The repair will include the installation of an added module for the mirror monitor display.

Problème : Dans certaines autocaravanes, l'image de l'écran du rétroviseur pourrait être inversée. Risque pour la sécurité : En raison de ce problème, le conducteur pourrait faire tourner le véhicule dans la mauvaise direction pour éviter un objet derrière le véhicule, ce qui augmenterait les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : La compagnie devra aviser les propriétaires par la poste. Les propriétaires devront appeler ASA Electronics afin de coordonner la réparation avec un concessionnaire local. La réparation comprendra l'installation d'un module ajouté pour l'écran du rétroviseur.
