The issue
Issue: On certain sunroof models, the glass could separate from the metal frame. Note: This recall is for sunroofs sold as aftermarket equipment for various passenger vehicles. This is a voluntary recall that is not being conducted under the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act. Safety Risk: A sunroof that separates from a moving vehicle could create a hazard for other drivers and nearby people. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners of this problem by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are still being finalized.

Problème : Sur certains modèles de toit ouvrant, la vitre pourrait se séparer du cadre métallique. Remarque : Le présent rappel vise les toits ouvrants vendus comme pièces de rechange pour divers véhicules de tourisme. Il s'agit d'un rappel volontaire qui n'est pas effectué conformément aux exigences de la Loi sur la sécurité automobile. Risques pour la sécurité : Un toit ouvrant qui se sépare d'un véhicule en mouvement pourrait créer un danger pour les autres conducteurs et les personnes à proximité. Mesures correctives : Le constructeur doit aviser les propriétaires de ce problème par la poste. Les mesures correctives pour ce rappel sont encore en cours d'élaboration.
