The issue
Issue: On certain motorhomes, the dash blower motor does not have proper fuse protection. As a result, an electrical overload or short circuit could cause the wiring to overheat. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats could create a risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to install a fuse for the dash blower. A 25 ampere fuse will be installed in position 23 in the power distribution box. Dealers will also install a label in the fuse box noting "Fuse Position 23 Max. 25 A".

Problème : Sur certaines autocaravanes, le moteur du ventilateur du tableau de bord n'est pas protégé par un fusible approprié. Par conséquent, une surcharge électrique ou un court-circuit pourrait provoquer une surchauffe du câblage. Risques pour la sécurité : Un câblage qui surchauffe peut créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Le constructeur doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste d'apporter leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire installer un fusible pour le ventilateur du tableau de bord.
