The issue

Issue: On certain Ranger SuperCab models, the front-passenger seat belt may not be assembled correctly. Safety Risk: An improperly assembled seat belt may not properly restrain a passenger in a crash. This could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their truck to a dealer to inspect the front-passenger seat belt. It will be replaced if necessary.

Problème : Dans certains modèles Ranger SuperCab, la ceinture de sécurité du passager avant pourrait avoir été mal assemblée. Risque pour la sécurité : Une ceinture de sécurité mal assemblée pourrait ne pas retenir adéquatement un passager en cas d'accident, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures. Mesure corrective : Ford avisera les propriétaires par la poste. Les propriétaires touchés devront amener leur camion chez un concessionnaire afin de faire inspecter la ceinture de sécurité du passager avant. Cette ceinture sera remplacée au besoin.
