The issue

Issue: On certain trailers, the emergency exit window at the rear of the trailer is blocked by the roof ladder. This could make it difficult or impossible to use the exit window in an emergency. Safety Risk: An emergency exit that is blocked could increase the risk of injury in an emergency. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer for modifications. The current exit window will be removed and a new one installed on the side opposite to the roof ladder.

Problème : Sur certaines remorques, la fenêtre d'issue de secours à l'arrière de la remorque est bloquée par l'échelle de toit. Cela pourrait rendre difficile, voire impossible, l'utilisation de la fenêtre de secours en cas d'urgence. Risques pour la sécurité : Une issue de secours bloquée pourrait augmenter les risques de blessure en cas d'urgence. Mesures correctives : Le constructeur doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'apporter leur remorque chez un concessionnaire pour la faire modifier. La fenêtre de secours actuelle sera enlevée et une nouvelle fenêtre sera installée du côté opposé à l'échelle de toit.
