The issue

Issue: The main power wire to the relay box may have a loose connection. This could cause the wire to overheat or melt, and result in a loss of electrical power to the vehicle. Safety Risk: A loss of electrical power to the vehicle could result in an engine stall and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to an authorized service center to inspect the main power wire bolt. If excess insulation is found, it will be trimmed and the bolt will be properly tightened. If the wire harness and/or relay box are damaged, they will be repaired or replaced.

Problème Le fil d'alimentation principale de la boîte-relais pourrait présenter une mauvaise connexion, ce qui pourrait causer une surchauffe ou une fusion du fil et une perte d'alimentation électrique du véhicule. Risque en matière de sécurité Une perte d'alimentation électrique du véhicule peut provoquer une panne de moteur et accroître les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives L'entreprise communiquera avec les propriétaires par courrier et leur demandera de conduire leur véhicule jusqu'à un centre de service autorisé, afin que boulon du fil soit inspecté. Si l'isolant s'avère excessif, il sera découper et le boulon adéquatement serré. Si le faisceau de fils et/ou la boîte-relais sont endommagés, ils seront réparés ou remplacés.
