The issue

Issue: On certain travel trailers, the wrong handle was installed on the emergency exit window. As a result, the handle could stop the emergency exit from opening properly. Safety Risk: An emergency exit that does not open properly could increase the risk of injury in an emergency. Corrective Actions: Jayco will notify owners by mail and provide them with a replacement handle for the emergency exit window. The owner may replace the handle, or take it to a Jayco dealer to have it replaced at no cost.

Problème : Sur certaines caravanes classiques, la mauvaise poignée a été installée sur la fenêtre d'issue de secours, ce qui pourrait empêcher son ouverture. Risques pour la sécurité : Une issue de secours qui ne s'ouvre pas correctement pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures en cas d'urgence. Mesures correctives : Jayco doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur fournir une poignée de remplacement pour la fenêtre d'issue de secours. Le propriétaire peut remplacer la poignée lui-même ou l'apporter chez un concessionnaire Jayco pour la faire poser sans frais.
