The issue
Issue: On certain travel trailers, the refrigerator wiring may not be properly connected to a circuit breaker. As a result, there may be no protection against an electrical overload or short circuit. Safety Risk: An electrical overload or short circuit on an unprotected circuit could create a risk of fire. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the refrigerator wiring. If the wires are not properly connected, they will be relocated to the correct terminals.

Problème : Dans certaines caravanes classiques, le câblage du réfrigérateur pourrait ne pas être branché adéquatement à un disjoncteur. Par conséquent, il pourrait n'y avoir aucune protection contre une surcharge électrique ou un court-circuit. Risque pour la sécurité : Une surcharge électrique ou un court-circuit sur un circuit non protégé pourrait créer un risque d'incendie. Mesure corrective : Forest River avisera les propriétaires par la poste. Les propriétaires touchés devront amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire afin de faire inspecter le câblage du réfrigérateur. Si les câbles sont mal branchés, ils seront réacheminés vers les bonnes bornes.
